"The Grapes of Wrath", by Steinbeck - Critical Analysis

Many writers in American literature try to instruct the doctrine of their choosing into their reader. This is often a philosophy derived at from their hold individualised experiences. John Steinbeck is no exception to this. When traveling with his autochthonal Californian in the mid-1930s, Steinbeck witnessed people living in solemn conditions of extreme poverty due to the Great low and the rude disaster known as the Dust Bowl.
